Invited by Chinese Dermatology Association (CDA), NACDA special delegation of 16 led by An Yen, M.D. , clinical professor of UC Davis, President of NACDA attended 2016 CDA annual convention in Xian, November 3-6, 2016. In addition to presentation of a half day “North American Session”, the 16 professors, senor specialty experts also gave presentations in subspecialty sessions.
Invitation and accommodations by CDA leadership and convention organizers are greatly appreciated.
Attendees were over 8000, the 3rd largest dermatology conference in after American Academy of Dermatology and European Dermatology Society meetings.

Drs. Chunlin April Deng, Ning Li, Christine G. Lian and Wei Susan Su were invited as oversea experts, attended the conference. Their lectures were well received.
Dr. Xiaoming Sun visited the first affiliated hospital of Beijing University and second affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University during early summer, 2016. Dr. Sun is a medical graduate from Zhejiang University and a US board certified senior dermatopathologtist based in Chicago.

Thanks to everyone for a successful NACDA reception during American Academy of Dermatology 2016 convention in Washington DC. This is the first time that NACDA hosted a reception. Over 30 NACDA members in Washington DC and invited quests including leaders from north American, China dermatology organizations attended the reception. Friendship and intention for future cooperation were warmly appreciated. We all had very good time!

Led by Dr. Helen Chen, vice president of NACDA and Dr. Ning Li, with support of many other NACDA members, Sino-US Dermatopathology discussion platform was founded in October, 2015. This platform utilizes Internet social media WeChat to pursue the mission of promoting academic exchange among dermatologists and dermatopathologists throughout China and North America. It has received strong support in the dermatology and dermatopathology communities ever since its inception and has become increasing popular.
Ten NACDA members including professors and senior experts in dermatology and dermatopathology are officially appointed by the Chinese Dermatologist Association (CDA) as advisors for the Chinese Dermatology Residency Training and Certification Program Committee. An oversea advisory internet communication platform has been established that connects these ten expert consultants from our association with the committee chaired by Professor Xuejun Zhu. The 29 members committee includes almost all dermatology organization leaders and chairpersons of major dermatology departments in China.
